The financial world sets increasingly high requirements for the system solution since IT systems have become a significant part of our everyday life within all fields, and a crucial competitive parameter in the increasingly fierce competition.



Crucial parameters in connection with choosing a system set-up are ”Straight Through Processing” and “One-time Entry”. In this way, time and resources used for administrative tasks and the risk of errors well be minimized.

Information Feed
IDEAS can receive data from Reuter.

Deal capture
MTS and CLICK: IDEAS can collect the transactions on-line from both platforms.

Integration
IDEAS is an open system, enabling both export and import of data to and from other systems.

  • Export of data is carried out via replicated databases
  • Import is carried out via XML formatted messages, Swift, FIX

External integration
Today, links have been established from IDEAS to all the large financial settlement and bookkeeping centers in Denmark, which settle with the Danish VP Securities Services.

SDC

  • All transactions are sent via a real-time link from IDEAS to the securities and back office systems (FED).
  • Transactions are sent via IBM MQseries from the SDC securities system (FED) to IDEAS, for instance telephone transactions and client transactions in the individual bank branches. Likewise, IDEAS is updated from SDC with opening positions every morning.
  • Via IDEAS, quick prices can be quoted on the Internet and to the branches.

Bankdata

  • All transactions are sent via a real-time link from IDEAS to Bankdata’s back office system which settles with the Danish VP Securities Services.
  • Transactions made in the individual bank branches are reported from the central system of Bankdata via IDEAS.

BEC

  • All transactions are sent via a real-time link from IDEAS to BEC’s back office system which settles with the Danish VP Securities Services.

Bloomberg Trade Feed

  • Transactions entered in IDEAS are sent to Bloomberg with client and account information.
