As our portfolio grew, requirements for a portfolio management system arose.A system ensuring management and overview.
We set some explicit requirements to our supplier; user friendliness and data security had to be of excellent quality. With our investment in SUPERPORT, all these requirements have been fulfilled.
We are in particular very satisfied with the great flexibility which the reporting options allow for. The many reports serve as very helpful instruments in the process of getting an overview of the state of the portfolio.
Now we also save a lot of time in connection with the annual reporting. SUPERPORT calculates our gains quickly and easily. The calculation for tax purposes of the portfolio has also been made easy – and it can be printed in a format which our auditors can use subsequently in their control of the portfolio.
With SUPERPORT, we have been able to lighten several administrative tasks, we have achieved security and overview of our portfolio – and last but not least – we have gained access to flexible reporting possibilities.

Cheminova up and running with superport
With SUPERPORT fully implemented, Cheminova is now ready to make the most of their investment.
Cheminova uses SUPERPORT for worldwide management of currency risks between the company and its sales subsidiaries. The risks are covered via currency forwards, options and swaps. Also the company’s loan and interest portfolios will be managed in SUPERPORT.
For accounting purposes, SUPERPORT will help apply the accounting standard, IAS 39 regarding Hedge Accounts. SUPERPORT divides the financial transactions in ’Hedge transactions’ and 'Non-Hedge transactions’. The entire basis for Hedge Account data is created with SUPERPORT.
Finally, Cheminova focuses on Counterpart risk, in light of the current financial instability.
SUPERPORT is a treasury system that lives up to our requirements of a flexible and reliable system for handling financial risks. Ability to react and reliability in the data foundation are two of the key elements for our investment in SUPERPORT.
