Notice that all the users of SUPERPORT must close down their access to SUPERPORT before you can install a new version.

The procedure for downloading the installation package supplied with SUPERPORT is as follows:

• Click on the SUPERPORT release you want to download.
• When Windows asks you if you want to save the installation package to SUPERPORT on your computer, click on the Save button to save the installation package on your computer.
• In the dialogue box, you select the folder where you want to save the installation package. When you have selected the folder, click on the Save button.
• When Windows has transmitted the installation package to you computer and asks you if you want to open the folder with the installation package, click on the Open button.

If the installation package is named setup.ex_ (version 4.7), rename the installation package setup.exe in the following way:

• Click on the installation package (one click).
• Press F2.
• Rename setup.ex_ so its new name is setup.exe
• Press Enter to end the renaming process.

If the installation package is named SUPERPORT.msi (version 5.0), you continue to the next step in the procedure.

• Double click on the installation package to install SUPERPORT.

If you have an old version of the installation package in the folder, setup.exe or SUPERPORT.msi, you must first either rename or delete the old version of the installation package.

At present, SUPERPORT does not support Windows Vista.
We expect to fully support Windows vista in release 5.2.
