ALOC, a supplier of software for many of the largest banks in the country, is celebrating its first 25 years in the business

ALOC has, over the last 25 years, developed software solutions for the financial industry. Its core competences are in the areas of portfolio and treasury management as well as the largest trading and order management system in Denmark. ALOC supplies solutions that play an extensive role in the clients’ daily performance in the market. This places a serious responsibility on ALOC. A responsibility which the 120 enthusiasts in the Funen company live and breathe.

It is this zeal and commitment that are the basis of the development of the company. Financial knowhow and technological competences are the principals of this growth. ALOC's journey has brought huge ups, but also some downs when the market has been under pressure. ALOC has always pulled through, and international expansion is one of the ways ALOC intends to ensure continued growth.

”We are here for one reason only, and that is to supply solutions to the market that create additional value for our clients”, says CEO, Jan Hjortshøj. Jan Hjortshøj is a new milestone for ALOC. He took over the helm after Karsten Bruun Andersen who was captain for the first 25 years. ”The task is a classic one: Improved client satisfaction, increased volume and cost-effectiveness. ALOC is, in 2010, positioned well in order to realize this potential. Actually, more prepared and goal oriented after a year where the financial crisis hit close to home. Our organization is more streamlined and we are likely to expand due to increased demand for our solutions. We are looking forward to the coming years – and to the next 25 years with the same success rate."
